Texas Notary Fees & Pricing

Edward Grant Notary Services, a service of EG3 Group LLC

Texas law establishes the maximum fees that a Texas Notary Public may charge for notarial acts. These fees are separate from any travel, convenience, technology, scheduling, administrative, or other service-related fees.

The official maximum allowable fees established under Texas Government Code § 406.024 and published by the Texas Secretary of State are outlined below.

Notarial Service Maximum Fee

Acknowledgment or Proof (First Signature) $10

Each Additional Signature (Same Notarial Certificate) $1

Oath or Affirmation (With Certificate and Seal) $10

Jurat (Verification Upon Oath) $10

Certificate Under Seal Not Otherwise Provided For $10

Notary Record / Journal Copies (Per Page) $1

Addtional Remote Online Notarization (RON) Fee* Up to $25

Example Remote Online Notarization (RON) Fees

A Remote Online Notarization (RON) fee may be charged in addition to applicable Texas notarial fees.

Example 1: One signer, one notarial certificate

Notarial Fee: $10
RON Fee: $25
Total: $35

Example 2: Two signers named in the same notarial certificate

Notarial Fee: $10 + $1
RON Fee: $25
Total: $36

Actual charges may vary depending on the number of notarizations performed and the services requested.

Additional Service Fees

Travel fees, convenience fees, technology fees, after-hours service fees, scheduling fees, administrative fees, apostille assistance fees, and other service-related charges are separate from statutory notarial fees.

Any applicable service fees will be disclosed and agreed upon prior to the appointment.
